Arakawa, Tokyo

Arakawa (Japanese: 荒川区; -ku) is a special ward located in Tokyo, Japan.

As of 2003, the ward has an estimated population of 186,275 and a density of 18,262.25 persons per km². The total area is 10.20 km².

The ward was founded on March 15, 1947.
