Carroll Alley is an American physicist. He was the principal investigator on the Apollo Program's Lunar Laser Ranging Experiment.
Alley developed some of the earliest important laboratory tests of Albert Einstein's theories of relativity.
In recent years he has become known for his controversial alternative theories of gravitation.
