Hatsya or Iota Orionis is the brightest star in Orion's sword. The 2.9 magnitude star is at the tip of the sword. Its Arabic name, Na’ir al Saif, means simply “the Bright One of the Sword.”
Some people have also interpreted Hatsya and the Orion Nebula as a male phallus.
