Jim Knight (born 6 March 1965) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He became Labour member of Parliament for Dorset South in 2001, the only Labour gain from the Tories in the 2001 election.
South Dorset is the most marginal seat in Britain, being only won by 153 votes. Jim Knight is expected to have a difficult election. The Conservative Party could win back the seat, and the Lib Dems have the most council seats in the constituency (though no one party has a majority on the council), therefore suggesting that they too could take the seat.
