The Pakistan People's Party (PPP) is a mainstream political party in Pakistan. It is led by Benazir Bhutto. The Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) is a party formed in 2002 by the PPP for the purpose of complying with electoral rules governing Pakistani parties. In the October 2002 elections, the PPPP won the second-largest number of seats in the Parliament of Pakistan.
The party was founded in 1967, and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto became its first chairman.
