Psalm 119 is the longest psalm as well as the longest chapter in the Bible. It is composed of 176 verses, with 8 verses beginning with each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet. Also, several other psalms have alphabetical arrangements. Other acrostic examples are as Psalm 111, 112, and 145.
