This article is about the youngest person to go to the north/south pole. For the German composer, see Robert Schumann.

Robert Schumann is the youngest person in history to go to both the North Pole (at age 10) and the South Pole (at age 11). This put him in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Schumann went to the North Pole on April 6, 1992. He arrived at the South Pole on December 29, 1993, by bicycle, accompanied by his father.
