The Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester is an ecclesiastical territory or diocese of the Roman Catholic Church in the New England region of the United States comprising of the entire state of New Hampshire. It is led by a prelate bishop which serves as pastor of the motherchurch, Cathedral of Saint Joseph in the City of Manchester.
The Diocese of Manchester was canonically erected on April 15, 1884 by Pope Leo XIII. Its territories were taken from the Diocese of Portland in the neighboring state of Maine.
