U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York

The United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction is comprised of the entirety of Long Island and Staten Island.

Its jurisdiction includes the following counties: Kings, Nassau, Queens, Richmond, and Suffolk.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court.

The present United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York (as of April, 2005) is Roslynn R. Mauskopf.
